1.2 Usage Data
We may collect limited usage data to monitor and secure the platform. This may include IP address, browser type, login timestamps, and general metadata about how users interact with the application. We do not track user behavior for marketing or profiling purposes within the product.
1.3 Telemetry & System Data
We access telemetry streams (e.g., logs, metrics, traces) only to extract representative samples needed to build and maintain a semantic index of patterns.
We do not ingest or store full telemetry data.
Instead, we store:
- Semantic patterns (e.g., log templates)
- Metadata for classification
- Limited, context-specific samples for features like waste detection
Where possible, variable fields are anonymized or replaced with wildcards to avoid storing sensitive information.
1.4 Transactional Data
If applicable, we may collect billing and subscription information for payment and invoicing.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data to:
- Operate and improve the Service
- Build and maintain the pattern index
- Identify and classify telemetry "waste"
- Provide support and communicate important updates
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share limited data with subprocessors under strict confidentiality, including:

We do not store or back up your full telemetry data. The source of record for full logs, metrics, and traces remains your observability provider.
Stored patterns, metadata, and samples are retained only as long as necessary to deliver the Service.
You may request deletion of any stored data associated with your account. We delete all retained data within 30 days of account termination unless otherwise required by law.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Secure storage of credentials and tokens
- Access restricted to authorized personnel only
